Our mission
The purpose of the PTO is to enhance the education of all students at Charlemagne Elementary School by fostering mutually beneficial relationships between educators, parents, and administration staff in order to create an optimal learning environment and strong community spirit.
The purpose of the PTO is to enhance the education of all students at Charlemagne Elementary School by fostering mutually beneficial relationships between educators, parents, and administration staff in order to create an optimal learning environment and strong community spirit.
The main avenue of agency in achieving this mission is to effectively raise money to supplement the staffing budget for Educational Assistants (EA’s) and to operate the Intern Program (independent of district funding) which attracts French speaking interns from various francophone regions of the world whose presence in classrooms enriches the immersion experience for students.
